Special thanks also to the city guide Dr Fuchs. His vividly told stories have remained in my memory for a long time. Finally, I have an overview of the cultural scene around the bustling Mr. Goethe. I also notice ginkgo trees more now. I rave about Weimar to my colleagues here ... and I would love to come back.

Unique city tour with Dr Fuchs!

On our wedding day on 18/5/2024, we were lucky enough to experience a 2-hour city tour with Mr Fuchs. Due to his knowledge and his humorous, friendly manner, he conveyed the city of Weimar with its historical and cultural history to our group. We were impressed by Mr Fuchs' guided tour, the friendliness of the city and the helpful inhabitants. We would return to Mr Fuchs on our next visit and recommend him to others. I have traveled widely and had many local tourist guides. None has been better than Dr Wolfgang Fuchs. His knowledge is impressive, his recitation of the Goethe poem memorable, his humor endearing, his challenges stimulating, and his special kind help to me is particular greatly appreciated. Excellent connoisseur of the city and its history
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Last Saturday, 22.04.23, at 11 a.m., I had a fantastic, one-hour city tour through the extended centre of Weimar. The guide was Dr. Fuchs, an excellent connoisseur of the city and its history. Mr. Fuchs has understood in a great way to come up with a lot of factual knowledge, loving details and the most important stations of the city. Mr. Fuchs responded to questions very individually, animated the participants with clever puzzles, recited himself and always came up with exciting "cliffhangers" from one station to the next. There was also an Englishwoman in the group who was not quite as proficient in German. Here Mr. Fuchs helped out very charmingly and far-sightedly in her mother tongue. Older and not so mobile participants were able to follow Mr. Fuchs well along the cobblestone streets of the city and also understand him acoustically well. I have rarely experienced such a good and comprehensive city tour. Quite exquisite, one might say, especially since I am also a little connoisseur of the city myself. Magical tour through past times
We booked a city tour with about 20 people, adults and children and were allowed to immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of the late 18th century Weimar Classicism as well as later eras. Mr. Fuchs gave us interesting associations in an entertaining way and also told many details that one do not usually get to know. Mr. Fuchs took us on a magical tour through past times, spiced with a lot of expertise and humour. Children of all ages and also the adults were completely captivated and fascinated for one and a half hour. We would like to do that again – soon and definitely!
